BILLINGS — The Billings West girls looked impressive in a 4-0 victory over Billings Senior to open Tuesday's crosstown soccer doubleheader, but the Senior boys made sure the two rivals would each take home a win.

Jillian Hust opened the scoring for the Golden Bears, finishing a left-footed shot off a through-ball assist from Emma Lensing. West led 1-0 at halftime, but netted three goals in the second half to break it open. Sophie Sievertsen scored twice, both on assists from Hust to give West its first win of the season. The Bears move to 1-2-0 while Senior falls to 0-3-1.

West had eyes on a crosstown sweep after Riley Krueger-Harding gave the Bears a 1-0 lead in the first minute of the boys game. Senior, however, equalized midway through the half after Sam George buried a penalty kick into the top right corner. Then two minutes later, Jakcel Juica finished off a wild scramble with a shot into the bottom left corner of the goal. It would turn out to be the game winner.

Senior is now 3-1-0 on the season, while West fell to 0-2-1.
