Shawn Holt, the activities coordinator at Billings Skyview since 1994, is retiring from the school district effective at the end of the school year, according to a media release from Billings Public Schools director of athletics and activities Mark Wahl.

Wahl also announced that Toby Hill has been hired as Holt's successor.

"We can't thank Shawn enough for his many years of service and contributions to Skyview. We wish him the best as he moves on to new things in life," Wahl said in the release.

Hill joined Skyview in 2007 as a science teacher and the Falcons' head boys basketball coach. He spent seven seasons coaching before resigning in 2014.

Hill has continued to serve in his teaching position and has also recently served as the science department head and gym coordinator helping Holt oversee activity events.

"Toby's vast teaching and coaching experience give him the background needed to effectively serve the coaches and participants at Skyview," Wahl said. "We look forward to working with him as we move into the new season next fall."
