MISSOULA – On Thursday night, the Missoula Hellgate Knights hosted the Helena High Bengals in what was presumed to be an easy win for the Knights.

However, in the first quarter, the Bengals showed they were up to the test. After a 6-0 run to start for the Knights, Helena found its rhythm and only trailed by three heading into the half.

In the second half, the Knights locked down on defense, only allowing Helena to score six points in the third quarter and only 12 in the fourth, while scoring 24 combined points themselves in the second half.

In the end, Helena kept it close, trailing by just three with 24 seconds, but Hellgate sealed the game from the foul line, winning 54-45.
