MISSOULA — Missoula Loyola hosted Florence in a Western B rivalry basketball doubleheader on Tuesday. The Florence girls earned a 56-49 win, while the Loyola boys cruised to a 62-33 win.

The girls game went back and forth all night long. In the third quarter, Loyola took a brief lead until the Falcons came back and regained the lead in the final seconds of the third. In the fourth quarter, the Falcons were too much as they were able to finish down low using their size advantage to hold on for a 56-49 win.

In the boys game, it was a different story. Loyola came out hot, hitting shots from inside and beyond the arc. Point guard Jack Lincoln scored 10 points in the first half and had two dunks. The Rams also kept great pressure on Florence with a full-court press on defense, turning the ball over multiple times in the first half. The Rams went on to win easily 62-33.
