BOZEMAN — Billings Central swept Belgrade in Friday night’s undefeated semifinal to move into Saturday’s championship match at the Class A state volleyball tournament at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on the campus of Montana State University.

The Rams will get an opportunity to defend their 2017 Class A state title. Olivia Moten-Schell once again led the attack for Central, racking up a team-high 16 kills. Moten-Schell also had 14 digs and one ace for the Rams.

Avery Hadley made her presence felt defensively, picking up a game-high 30 digs. Sierra Schuster had 20 digs and 28 assists.

Belgrade, which lost to Billings Central in last year’s state championship, moves into Saturday third-place match against Corvallis, a rematch of last year’s third-place match that Belgrade won.
