MISSOULA – High school season kicked off a week ago but one of the most exciting games of the year is already here. Crosstown football is going down tonight in Missoula.

The Big Sky Eagles will take on the Sentinel Spartans. The Spartans crushed Skyview a week ago for their first win of the season. The Eagles come into tonight looking for their first win after a big loss to Billings West.

Both teams know the energy and gameplan for the cross-town clash, after splitting two games last season.

“That’s their goal is to control the ball. Keep it close keep our offense off the field for a long time so we got to be ready for that and if our defense can get stops then we got to keep scoring and scoring and score fast,” said Rylan Ortt.

“It’ll be physical it’ll be exciting and they’re going to play a certain style of football that can present some problems for us,” said Sentinel Coach Dane Oliver.

“Crosstown is always fun but we can’t get caught too much up in the hype just go out there and compete like we always do,” said safety Brendon Hill.
