MISSOULA – The final day at the Missoula High School Golf Invitational teed off at Canyon River on Tuesday.
Polson’s Matt Hobbs came in with the lead from the first round at 1-over par. He shot a 75 on the second day to bring his total to 147 and an overall score of 5-over par to secure the win. Missoula Sentinel’s Jack Johnston finished second with a two-day total of 149.
For the girls, Sentinel’s Emily Garden shot an impressive 72 on Day 2 to rally past Corvallis’ Macee Greenwood, who held the lead after the first day. Garden finished with a two-day score of 151, nine strokes over par, to top the field. Greenwood placed second with a score of 160.
