MISSOULA – It was a nearly perfect day for track and field at Big Sky High as the District 13C/14C track and field meet conluded on Saturday.
In the boys 13C 3,200-meter race, Jesse Shaske from Alberton-Superior won with a time of 11 minutes, 4 seconds.
In the 14C boys 3,200, it was Charlo’s Wills Degrandpre, who continued to dominate. He won big with a time of 10:47, almost a minute ahead of the next finisher.
And in the relays, the boys 13C 4×400 was won by Seeley-Swan with a great time of 3:33, just two seconds off the record set in 1981.
In the boys 14C, it was Charlo racking up more points as the Vikings took the 1,600 relay win easily with a time of 3:44.
Over in the girls 14C, Charlo took another win, crossing the line with a time of 4:36.
