MISSOULA – The Western AA divisional tennis tournament rolled through the second of three days on Wednesday until a rain storm rolled through the valley and suspended play as the semifinals began.

Players from Missoula’s three Class AA schools — Big Sky, Hellgate and Sentinel — will take the courts again on Thursday afternoon. Everyone is battling for a high finish to advance to the State AA tennis tournament in Kalispell next week.

In a couple quarterfinal matches that did finish on Wednesday, Sentinel’s Jack Johnson defeated Big Sky’s Brady Tabish 6-3, 6-3, and Sentinel’s Kate Lindsay beat Big Sky’s Betta Lyon-Delsordo 6-3, 6-1.
