HELENA – The Helena Capital softball team has lost only once this season — to the undefeated Great Falls Bison of the Eastern AA. The Bruins have yet to drop a game to anyone in the Western AA, and the Bruins kept that perfect conference record intact with a 7-0 win over Missoula Sentinel on Thursday.
Capital’s Taylor Mathews led all players with two RBI. Shelby Martin was the winning pitcher with seven strikeouts.
