EAST MISSOULA – The Missoula Loyola Rams and Breakers invited stiff competition to town for their annual two-day golf invite. But all of the titles stayed with the home team.

Loyola’s Kylie Esh and Bucky Crippen took the girls and boys individual titles by comfortable margins, and the Rams and Breakers teams also captured both titles.

Esh shot the best round for any boy or girl at the Ranch Club in Round 1, carding a 73. She didn’t go as low at Canyon River on Day 2, posting an 81, but she extended her lead from six strokes to 11 over second-place finisher and Loyola teammate Katie Fagg.

Crippen started the second round tied with Shelby’s Brock Whitted. Both shot 77s at the Ranch Club, but Crippen was the only player, boy or girl, to reach the 70s on Tuesday. His final-round 75 pushed Crippen to a nine-stroke win over Dylan Beckman of Thompson Falls.
