HELENA – After losing its first game of the season to Great Falls High last week, Helena Capital continued its winning ways in a pair of softball wins over Hellgate Tuesday in Missoula.
The Bruins won the first game easily, a 17-4 five-inning contest, and handed the Knights a six-inning shutout in Game 2 10-0.
Taylor Mathews went 4-4 in the first contest, hitting a home run against the Knights. Sarah Bury led the Bruins in the second game, going 3-4 from the plate with a double and a grand slam.
