BUTTE — With one swing of the bat from Taylor Huff, the Butte High Bulldogs took control of what was a tie game in the bottom of the fourth inning en route to a 5-1 victory over Billings Skyview at Stodden Park in Butte on Saturday afternoon.
Huff hit a three-run blast to give Butte a four-run lead, one that Bulldogs pitcher Kadie Mcclafferty would not relinquish. The senior struck out nine Falcons in the opening game. The home run’s momentum carried well beyond that contest, as Butte capped off a solid day with a 10-3 win in the second game of the conference doubleheader.
