BILLINGS – After two weeks of cancellations, Billings Senior finally got on the softball diamond Friday afternoon, and their patience was rewarded with a win.
The Broncs beat Butte 6-3 in the season opener that also was their Eastern AA conference opener.
Ellie Ostermiller got the win for Senior, allowing just three runs on two Bulldog homeruns. The teams traded the lead through the first three innings, but Senior scored the final four runs of the game to take the win.
Senior activities director Mark Sulser told MTN Senior led 10-6 with two outs in the top of the seventh inning in the non-conference game two.
