KALISPELL – Kalispell Glacier continues to grow its list of Class AA state qualifiers. Hunter Nicholson qualified in the triple jump, long jump and high jump. He also set the top mark in the state for long jump by leaping 21 feet, 6 inches.
In the sprints, Ethan Larson and Drew Turner split victories in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Larson has the fastest 100 time in the state, and finished just ahead of Turner in 11.12 seconds. Turner, who finished the 100 in 11.49 and 200 in 22.78, joined Larson as a state qualifier in both events.
Kalispell Flathead’s Ben Perrin and Glacier’s Elijah Boyd became state qualifiers in the 800, running 2 minutes, 0.26 seconds and 2:00.76, respectively.
