HELENA – On possibly the last nice day of the week, Helena High and Helena Capital started their softball season with a non-conference crosstown game, but the Bruin bats alredy looked like they were in mid season form.
Capital started the scoring in the fist inning off a April Davis three run homer and they never looked back. Beating Helena High 8-3.
Both teams were set to play in the annual Great Falls Softball Jamboree tomorrow, but the event has been canceled due to the weather forecast.
