TOWNSEND – After an early loss followed by a series of tough wins at divisionals last week the Bulldogs fell they are battle tested and ready to make a run for the state tittle this week, starting with Rocky Boy tomorrow in Missoula.

“I really think we’re battle tested,” said head coach Dan Hazlett. “Lose that first one (game at divisionals) and then win three in a row there. It’s tough. And we hung our hats on defense all year and that really stepped up for us. Every single person who played defensibly, we played well. Then offense was kind of hit and miss a little bit. But I’ll tell you what, for them to win three in a row and get back in the state tournament again is just huge and I’m excited for them.”

“We’ve really come toghether over the last few weeks especially and I think we all have the right mind set and we’re all going in really excited and hope to do good,” said senior Abby Leachman.
