BUTTE – The Manhattan Christian Eagles have a motto each year. Last year was “Family” but after their four-point loss in the state title game to Arlee, this year’s motto has been “Unfinished.” But with each game the Eagles creep closer to their end goal, the state title game.

But now they have to go up against Park City to get there.

“I think we match up pretty well,” said EAgles head coach Jeff Bellach. “But we won’t be taking them lightly. I know obviously you’re at the state tournament, everybody’s good.

But Manhattan Christian can taste a state title game that is just four quarters away.

“We are excited to be back in the semifinal second year in a row, but we will get the boys some rest and we will put together a game plan,” Bellach said.

Tipoff between Manhattan Christian and Park City is Thursday at 8 p.m.
