PHILIPSBURG — After losing to Arlee at the divisional tournament on Friday night, Manhattan Christian head coach Jeff Bellach said that his team looks forward to the potential of playing the Warriors again.

After a 61-32 win over Plains on Monday, the Eagles will have a chance. Christian jumped out to a 17-6 lead after the first quarter, thanks to Cleb Bellach pouring in nine of his game-high 22 points. Bellach did not play in the fourth quarter, as the Eagles led by 30 entering the final period. Ryan Busch added 19 points in three quarters.

Kyle Weeks scored 17 points, over half of his team’s total output on the offensive end. None of his teammates scored more than five points.

Manhattan Christian open the Class C state tournament Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. The Eagles will face Heart Butte at the Civic Center in Butte.
