GREAT FALLS – On Day 2 of the Northern C divisional tournament on Thursday, the Box Elder girls basketball team defeated Great Falls Central 78-38. Four Lady Bears finished in double figures, as Lilly Gopher and Joelnell Momberg each scored 15 points, Cecilia Vielle had 13 points, and Nikayla Anderson had 10.
On the same day, the Belt girls topped Turner 60-20. The Lady Huskies were led by Dani Urick with 17 points.
Belt will play Box Elder in the semifinals for the second straight year on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Winnett-Grass Range and Hobson-Moore-Judith Gap play the earlier semifinal at 4 p.m.
