BIG TIMBER – Trailing by eight with just over five minutes to play, the Livingston boys basketball team rallied to force overtime and then prevailed in the extra period, winning 53-50 on Friday.
Jakim Ricketts led the Rangers with 18 points and Rydell Floyd chipped in 13.
The girls game provided the same type of fireworks. Big Timber trailed by eight with under four minutes to play but forced overtime after a made free throw by Jaylea Lunceford. In overtime, Livingston buried Big Timber from the free throw line to come away victorious, 48-43.
Freshman Kodie Vondra led Livingston with 17 points. Big Timber got 15 from Elle Terland and 13 from Sydney Prather in the loss.
