HELENA — Montana’s largest insurer Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT), who has been providing top-notch health insurance plans and administrative services to Montanans for more than 75 years, has entered into a three-year agreement with the Montana High School Association as an MHSA corporate partner. BCBSMT has contracted to provide financial support to assist the MHSA and our member schools in continuing to provide quality high school activity programs across the state. The MHSA sanctions eleven sports and five activities for students in our 179 member high schools throughout the state.

“We are pleased to have Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana join the MHSA as an official corporate partner. Their support will assist in providing high school activity participants, coaches, administrators, officials and fans the opportunity to participate and to enjoy high school extra-curricular activities”, said Mark Beckman, MHSA Executive Director.

BCBSMT is headquartered in Helena, with five regional offices in Billings, Missoula, Bozeman, Great Falls and Kalispell. No other health insurer can match BCBSMT’s strong local presence of nearly 500 Montana-based employees. BCBSMT believes that you deserve the best of both worlds – access to quality, affordable health care and superior services from a company that focuses solely on members, not shareholders.

“We are proud to partner with the Montana High School Association, a like-minded organization, that, like us, cares deeply about communities all across Montana,” said John Doran, Vice President of External Affairs and Chief of Staff at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana. “Together, we can help support student-athletes and our state’s next generation of leaders.”

The MHSA and our 179 member high schools look forward to a long-term relationship with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana.
