BILLINGS – A 20-2 third-quarter run turned a 21-20 halftime deficit into a 52-30 runaway win for the Billings West girls basketball team against Great Falls High Saturday in the Golden Dome.
After a tight first half, West used precision passing and pressure defense to score the first 13 points of the third quarter. The Bears won the third 20-2, holding CMR without a single field goal.
The run reached 25-2 midway through the fourth. CMR scored just nine points the entire second half.
The win moved West to 6-1 in the Eastern AA, just one game behind Billings Senior (7-0). The Broncs defeated Great Falls High Saturday for their 10th consecutive win.
