LIVINGSTON – Belgrade senior Dawson Fowler scored his 1,000th career point Friday, helping the Panthers to a 65-61 upset win over third-ranked Livingston in Central A boys basketball action.
Fowler scored 20 points to put him at 1,004 career points. He became the first official 1,000-point scorer in Belgrade history as the Panthers did not keep statistics until the 1990s.
The Belgrade girls basketball team also defeated the Lady Rangers 65-62 in overtime.
