GREAT FALLS — Blake Thelen scored a game-high 22 points and added five assists and three steals to lead Great Falls High to an 86-70 Eastern AA boys basketball win over Billings West. The 86 points were the best offensive output of the season for the Bison boys.
Kyle Torgerson added 16 points for the Bison and Kyle Winkler joined his teammates in double figures with 11 points.
Cole DeVries and Jesse Owens paced the Bears with 18 and 17 points, respectively.
Great Falls High (10-2, 5-1) will next host Billings Senior (7-5, 3-3) while West will face CMR at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
