FLORENCE – Deer Lodge pulled off a District 6B boys basketball upset in Florence on Friday night, defeating the Falcons 56-41.
The Wardens built a five-point lead in the first quarter, extended it to 15 by the end of the third quarter, and the Falcons could never make a comeback. Dyllon McDermid led the way for Deer Lodge with 21 points.
The win improves the Wardens to 2-4 in the 6B standings. Florence falls to 4-2.
