BILLINGS – Nine and counting.
The Billings Senior girls basketball team jumped out to a 10-point halftime lead and rolled to its ninth consecutive win Friday night, defeating Great Falls CMR 54-41.
The Rustlers came into the night just a game back of Senior in the Eastern AA standings but couldn’t stay with the Broncs’ firepower. A deep Addison Gardner 3-pointer pulled CMR within 34-25 midway through the third, but Senior pushed the lead to 14 by the end of the quarter to seal the win.
Senior is now 6-0 through the first half of its Eastern AA schedule. The Broncs host Great Falls High Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CMR goes to Billings West, with tipoff also at 2:30 p.m.
