Big third quarter helps Billings Central boys beat Miles City

BILLINGS – The Billings Central boys used a 22-6 run in the first 5:30 of the third quarter to run away from Miles City, eventually winning 62-46 Friday night inside the Nelles Center in Eastern A boys basketball action.

The Cowboys jumped out to a 15-11 lead after the first quarter and stayed right with the favored Rams, trailing just 26-25 at halftime. They never recovered after Central’s run.

Chrishon Dixon led the Rams with 14.

Central now prepares for undefeated Hardin on Saturday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside Rimrock Auto Arena.
