MANHATTAN — The Townsend girls got 53 combined points from Tavia Rooney, Lainee Hill and Charlotte Watson as the Bulldogs defeated Manhattan 62-25 on Saturday evening. Townsend’s defense limited the Tigers to just one point in the fourth quarter, and didn’t allow a double-digit scorer in the contest.
Cal Holgate had a game-high 15 points as the Manhattan boys picked up a 50-34 win. Nathan VanDyke added 12 points for the Tigers. Easton Hatfield was the lone Bulldog in double figures with 13 points.
