MANHATTAN – The Manhattan Tigers split their home series against Townsend on Saturday night. In the girls game, the Lady Bulldogs dominated in a 62-25 win.
Tavia Rooney led the way for Townsend with 17 points, Lainee Hill followed closely behind with 15. Scoring was difficult for the Tigers, as Jasmine Grossman had a team-high six points.
The Tigers got revenge in the boys game as Manhattan won 50-34. Manhattan came alive in the second half after being held to only four first-quarter points.
