BILLINGS – After a tight opening quarter, Billings Skyview’s basketball girls turned up the defensive pressure and cruised to a 53-29 win over Billings Central Monday night up on The Hill.
The Falcons only led 8-7 after the first quarter, but then cashed in on some turnovers and turned them into fast-break points, outscoring Central 18-4 in the second quarter for a 26-11 halftime lead.
Skyview (5-4) continued to play well at both ends of the floor, limiting Central’s inside scoring chances on their way to a 40-21 after three. Central falls to 6-5.
