GLASGOW – The Colstrip Colts and Circle Wildcats are the top teams in Classes B and C wrestling, according to coaches around the state. The polls for the classification were released this week.
Five Colstrip grapplers were ranked No. 1 in their individual weight classes – defending champion Jackson Currier (138), Ty Bradley (152), Cody Blaede (160), Nakoda Siegel (170) and defending champion Merlin Whitedirt (285).
Defending Class B state champion Eureka was second in the team polls, while perennial power Glasgow ranked third.
126-pound Lincoln Stormer paces the Circle wrestling program. Stormer was selected No. 1 in his weight class. Trey Taylor (138) and Kyle Schillinger (285) were also represented in the polls.
Valier and Arlee rounded out the top three programs in the Class C coaches poll.
