POWER – The Power girls basketball team defeated Sunburst at home by a big margin 65-14 on Friday. The lady Pirates (4-5) led the lady Refiners (1-8) the entire game. Jessie Maruska led Power with 26 points.
For the boys matchup, the final was much closer. Sunburst (8-1) was able to sneak away with a narrow 68-67 victory over Power (5-4). Treyton Pickering led the Refiners with 28 points. Dominik Dunk led the Pirates with scoring 28 points, as well.
