Bozeman takes Day 1 lead at Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic

MISSOULA – Bozeman has built a team lead at the Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic. The Hawks scored 125 points on the first day of competition at Missoula Sentinel High School on Friday.

Mead High (from Spokane) and Kalispell Flathead, the defending Classic team champion, sit in second and third place with one day left to make a move.

Hundreds of wrestlers made it through the quarterfinal round Friday night. The tournament continues with semifinals at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The championship round is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
