BIGFORK – The Bigfork Vikings boys basketball team is on an absolute tear this season, running out to an undefeated 9-0 start.
They have been blowing teams out of the water all year. Anaconda came closest to knocking the Vikings down, and that was still a 10-point game. Bigfork devastated Troy 74-6 earlier this season and defeated Thompson Falls 87-59 on Thursday.
Bigfork senior Beau Santistevan says the team has worked hard to get to this point, but the experience working as a team has helped a lot.
“I guess I credit it to all the hard work we put in this summer and the summers before,” Santistevan said. “We have the same team that we did last year, so we’re not trying to restart. We’re just basically building on what we had going last year.”
