BUTTE — The Bozeman High Hawks had a tough time with the Bulldogs at the Mining City Duals in December, barely coming away with a win. It was a much different story in Butte on Tuesday evening, as the Hawks cruised to a 47-15 win to spoil the Bulldogs’ senior night.
The night was spoiled early for Butte, as heavyweight Jeff Queer didn’t dress due to a minor meniscus injury.
Like the previous meeting, Bozeman dominated the early matches in the lower weight classes, but Butte got a small spark from its heavier grapplers. Some shifts at the top were made with Queer’s absence.
The dual was the final one for Butte High on its home mats.
