ARLEE – Another great crowd celebrated another great night on the court for the powerhouse programs in the Western C. Arlee swept a girls and boys basketball doubleheader against St. Ignatius on Tuesday.
The Scarlets started the night with a 58-39 win over the Bulldogs, pulling away in the second half.
The Warriors took a bit to pull away, but then they notched yet another blowout victory, defeating St. Ignatius 84-39.
Arlee celebrated last year’s first state championship by the Warriors, raising a championship banner on their home court. The Scarlets also advanced to the Class C state championship game last year, losing to Belt in the final.
