GREAT FALLS -- Huntley Project defeated Townsend 65-12 in Saturday's championship round of the Class B-C wrestling duals in Great Falls, repeating as the champions of the tournament.

Twenty teams competed in the 2020 version of the Class B-C duals, with teams competing in Cascade, Conrad and Fairfield on Friday. The top eight teams from the pool portion of the tournament advanced to the championship bracket at Great Falls' Paris Gibson Education Center on Saturday.

Huntley Project defeated Simms in the opening round (55-12) before downing Whitehall (48-14) in the semifinals. Townsend took care of Manhattan (57-18) and rival Jefferson (39-36) to advance to the title round.

Whitehall defeated Jefferson for third place in the tournament.

The Class B-C postseason begins Feb. 8 with the divisional tournaments across the state. The Southern B-C will be held at Cascade, while the Northern B-C takes place in Conrad. Huntley Project hosts the Eastern B-C divisional, while St. Ignatius will welcome the Western B-C squads.
