BIG SKY — Most people think of think of Manhattan Christian for volleyball in District 12C, but Lone Peak is undefeated as well and on Saturday was at home taking on Twin Bridges. The Big Horns kept their undefeated record intact with a 25-17, 25-16, 20-25, 25-16 win.

The Big Horns got off to a slow start, and at one point were down 7-2 in the first set, but they would come back to take the lead and win handily, 25-17 after the Falcons served one straight into the net.

In the second set, after a long volley, sophomore Maddie Cone, who leads Lone Peak in kills, stuffed Twin Bridges at the net. The Big Horns took the set 25-16.

Looking to sweep, Lone Peak pulled ahead early, but the Falcons weren’t going to go home empty-handed and made nice comeback. Up 24-20 Twin Bridges sophomore Callie Kaiser got them the third-set win as she put a kill down with authority.

Lone Peak would be too much for the Falcons in the fourth set, though. On game point, Reilly Germain tipped one over the net that bounced off the defender and onto the court. The Big Horns won the fourth set 25-16.

With the four-set win, Lone Peak moves to 11-0 on the season.
