GREAT FALLS — Great Falls Public Schools announced on Tuesday that Alex Lowry will be the new head coach for the Great Falls CMR softball program, pending board approval.
Lowry was a multi-sport star at CMR, and was on the Rustler softball team that finished second at the Class AA state tournament in 2010. She played her college ball at the University of Great Falls, now the University of Providence, helping the Argos to an appearance in the NAIA national tournament in 2016.
Lowry replaces longtime Rustler coach Lindsey Gustafson, who stepped down after last season.
