Slow start dooms Billings Skyview girls against Senior

BILLINGS — The Billings Senior Broncs outscored Billings Skyview 14-2 in the first quarter Thursday night and never looked back, winning 58-29 in an Eastern AA girls basketball matchup.

Jensen Keller scored seven of the Broncs' first nine points as Senior jumped out to a 9-0 lead. Skyview finally cracked the scoreboard with 1:54 remaining in the opening quarter, but Senior ran the lead to 12 by the start of the second. The Broncs led 32-17 at halftime and 40-26 after three quarters before ending the game on an 18-0 run.

Senior moves 4-8 overall with the win and 2-4 in the Eastern AA. The loss leaves Skyview with identical records.
