MISSOULA -- On Thursday night the Missoula Sentinel Spartans hosted the Kalispell Glacier Wolfpack in a highly anticipated Western AA girls basketball showdown. The Wolfpack came into the game sitting one spot behind the Spartans in the conference standings, in fourth.
The matchup didn't disappoint as it took all 32 minutes of playing time to decide a winner.
After going back and forth for four quarters, the Sentinel Spartans held on to beat Glacier 48-45.
With the win, Sentinel moves to 10-2 overall and 6-2 in conference play while the Glacier girls drop to 5-7 overall and 4-4 in conference.
