PARK CITY -- Hayley Story scored a game-high 14 points and Abby Hoffman chipped in with 10 as the Park City girls rang in the new year with a 48-19 conference win over Absarokee. The Panther boys made it a clean sweep with a 38-34 win in the nightcap.

Story did most of her damage in the second quarter, scoring nine points in the frame and 11 in the first half. Hoffman added six points in the second quarter as the Panthers led by more than 20 points in the period.

Sydney Kluth finished with eight points, including a pair of 3-pointers, for the Panthers. Park City improved to 4-2 overall and 3-1 in District 6C play.

Park City's boys started the late game hot, riding post player Austin Dennis to a fast start. Dennis finished with 10 points. Tucker Johnstone led the Panthers with 13, but Absarokee chipped away in the second half to keep things close.

James Wetmore beat the first-half buzzer with a put-back on a missed half-court heave to put the Panthers ahead 17-12 at intermission. The Huskies outscored the Panthers 14-8 in the final quarter.
