In the first half, Polson had things rolling thanks to an impressive effort by Rylee Taylor-Jefferson and Aleysia Black, who both knocked down multiple 3-pointers to start the game.

Eventually, Polson’s shooting fell flat and Bigfork took advantage, attacking from 3 as well, in a charge led by Desirae Dell, who scored nine points all from behind the arc in the first half.

Then Paeten Gunlock put her foot on the gas in the second half, leaving no doubt who was going to win the game as she distributed and scored her way to help push the Valkyries to a 71-49 victory.

Bigfork will play Browning at home Thursday, January 15 in Bigfork. Polson will play at Libby Saturday, January 17.
