GREAT FALLS — Ashlyn Jones scored 13 points and a pair of Bison teammates each added 12 as the Great Falls High girls basketball team took down Great Falls CMR 49-38 Tuesday night.

The game was tight for much of the first half, with Great Falls High taking a 25-23 lead into the break. Senior Ryen Palmer scored all 11 of Great Falls High's points in the third quarter, allowing the Bison to open up a 36-27 lead. However, CMR closed it back down to 36-34 with a seven-point run, capped off by a Lauren Lindseth steal and coast-to-coast layup.

Great Falls High never relinquished the lead, though, using stifling interior defense to hold the Rustlers to just four more points.

Palmer finished with 12 points for the Bison, as did Alison Harris. Lindseth led CMR with 12.

Great Falls High moves to 3-0 on the season, while CMR falls to 1-2.
