Scobey 48, Plentywood 22

Scobey smothered Plentywood from the opening tip, building a 29-16 halftime lead on its way to a 48-22 win to get back in the Eastern C title game for the second consecutive year.

Scobey was extremely efficient on the offensive end, shooting 48.7 percent and turning the ball over just eight times. The Spartans forced 16 Plentywood turnovers and made six more 3-point shots than the Wildcats.

Gracee Lekvold had 16 points for Scobey and Kortney Nelson had 15 points and six assists. The Spartans will face Westby-Grenora in the title game in what will be the third meeting this season between the two. Westby-Grenora won in Scobey, while Scobey won at Westby-Grenora.
