WORDEN — After surrendering a first-half double-digit lead, the Plenty Coups girls found their footing again with a dominant third quarter on their way to a 61-41 win over Harlowton-Ryegate in Saturday's District 6C girls basketball championship game.

Still buzzing from the boys thrilling win 20 minutes prior, the Warriors jumped out to a 20-9 lead after the first quarter. But much like the boys, Plenty Coups gave up the lead quickly. Harlowton tied the game at 27 by halftime after Karli Lane hit a 3 right before the break.

Plenty Coups seized the momentum back, winning the third quarter 15-2, and never let the Engineers back in it.

The Warriors will be the No. 1 seed in the Southern C divisional, March 4-7 in Miles City. Harlowton will be No. 2. Bridger will be the No. 3 seed after beating Roberts in the consolation game earlier in the night, while the Rockets will also advance as No. 4.
