Columbus girls rout Shepherd to stay perfect in conference

COLUMBUS — The Columbus Cougars took care of business again Friday night with a 59-23 girls basketball rout of Shepherd to move to 5-0 in District 4B.

Columbus got out to a 17-9 lead after the first quarter and never let up. The Cougars pushed it to double digits less than a minute into the second quarter.

Columbus moves to 6-3 overall on the year, while Shepherd falls to 2-8 overall and 2-3 in conference.
