BOZEMAN — In Eastern AA basketball matchups the Bozeman Hawks swept the Belgrade boys and girls on Tuesday. The boys played in Belgrade and the girls in Bozeman.

In the boys game, the Hawks started sloppy, trailing the entire first quarter until junior Ty Huse drained a half-court buzzer beater to put Bozeman up 9-7.

The Hawks would run away it after that, winning 57-29. Belgrade didn't score a point in the final quarter.

Huse led Bozeman with a game-high 21 points. Wyatt Russell had a team-high 15 points for Belgade.

Bozeman is now 5-1 and Belgrade is 0-6.

The girls game was a back-and-forth game to start, but eventually Bozeman pulled away from the Panthers in the second half to win 56-30.

Hawks senior Macy Mayer finished with 18 points on the night.

Bozeman is now 5-1 and Belgrade is 0-6.
