BILLINGS — Billings West's girls didn't need any last-second heroics this time.

Two weeks after Laiten Lantis hit a late 3-pointer to save the Bears in an overtime win at Billings Senior, the Bears pulled away in the second half Friday to a 60-47 win over the Broncs to earn the season sweep.

West led just 12-11 after the first quarter, but Mackenzie Rask scored 13 points in the second to help the Bears take a 31-23 lead into halftime. Senior stayed close early in the third, but West extended the lead to 44-31 after Rask's fourth 3-pointer heading into the fourth.

West moves to 8-3 overall and 5-0 atop the Eastern AA conference. Senior falls to 3-7, 1-4.
